About

Changpan

Music Artist/Songwriter

Chang Pan is a Singapore-based music artist and songwriter working with sound as material for collection, collage, and reconstruction. Fragments of environments and cultures, instruments, voices, noise, and accidental discoveries are brought together to form worlds with their own distinct sonic textures.

His practice moves across electronic music, jazz, field recording, and contemporary composition. These are treated as open materials rather than fixed genres. The work remains gentle and restrained, attentive to overlooked sounds and to the small surprises hidden within everyday listening.

Recorded music, live performance, and cross-media collaboration are approached as different forms of the same practice. Chang Pan is currently based in Singapore and is open to co-production, performance, interdisciplinary work, and commissions.
